occupation: Property manager

story: Quinn had been raised by seven men – six brothers and her father. And every single one of them were older than her. Raised in Boston in the rougher neighborhoods of the south, a thing Quinn had always proudly boasted. A southie through and through. And while her father was around, her brothers did a lot of the raising job when it came down to it. Johnny, the oldest, more than most since their father was often back on the green isles to help try and keep the IRA movement current and living. It wasn’t surprising that her dating life wasn’t actually a thing. Then one day a smooth talking pretty boy swept in and made her head spin in the same way the serpent in the Garden of Eden had Eve so long ago. And it also wasn’t surprising that he broke her heart and taught her being single was better than stupid and heartbroken. So she remained solo for the longest time.

Instead of boys, and later men, she focused on learning everything her brothers could teach her. From knife throwing, to sharp shooting. And she was damn good at it, spending most of her life practicing, or following her brother Paddy to civil war torn countries and helping him with his mercenary jobs. In her mid-twenties she took on the job of merc for hire herself, leaning more towards assassinations that kept her sniper rifle, Siobhan busy.

This was the very thing that had led her to her current life. Taking a job offer to hunt down a particular man. A shifter, unbeknownst to her. The human woman had no idea that there was even a community of supernatural that existed. Not until the shifter that she’d been going after changed before her very eyes and nearly killed her. The man she’d met on the ferry, a large bear of a man that had left her as flustered as his adorably pervy child had, came out of nowhere and ripped the head off the guy. Apparently whoever hired her hadn’t expected the islands off record enforcer to already be after him. It’d taken a while for Quinn to heal, and thankfully the target hadn’t infected her. It was also a curse because it meant that Adam Lawson had been able to strong arm her into healing and even managed to slam into her like a fist leaving a mark.

That was then, and now she’d been here on Nowhere Island for three years and wore a ring on her finger that signified the claim Lawson had made. She helped settle in new supernatural into homes and find their place on the island, but her favorite part was getting to helping keep the Island safe when the council calls for help that are outside the realm of the local law enforcement.
